Broccoli side dish with Balsamic Glaze

Healthy & fun veggie ideas for the new year


Today’s unique & tasty veggie dish is a healthy leafy green side dish with a sweet touch

Ingredients:  Makes 1 serving

  • 1 c. broccoli
  • 1/8 c. pine nuts
  • 1/8 c. dried cranberries
  • Drizzle of balsamic glaze (I get mine from Trader Joe’s)
  • Sea Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Cook broccoli: Either steamed on the stove, steamed in the microwave (with about an inch of water in a bowl) or sauteed on the stove. Season with salt & pepper
  2. Toast the pine nuts in a pan on the stove until golden brown IMG_3408
  3. Combine the broccoli and pine nuts
  4. Top with dried cranberries & balsamic glaze
