Halloween Treats in Moderation

Happy Halloween from Carly’s Clean Cuisine!

As your Halloween festivities approach, remember: Everything in moderation (that goes for drinking too). This has become a mantra of mine as I don’t want to deprive myself of all of life’s foodie indulgences, especially when it comes to sweets.

The spooky thing about Halloween is it’s all about the treats. It’s okay to indulge every once and a while, in fact, you should, because a treat every now and then will help you stay on track for the long run. But, let’s face it, we can’t eat a whole pillowcase full of candy like we used to do as little kids! Be selective: Pick something that’s worth it for you to choose to spend your splurge on.

Everyone is faced with temptations at gatherings, parties, and restaurants. It takes will power to resist an excessive amount of treats during the holidays.
